Special Ed Classroom for SEPS!

Santa Elena Primary School is so excited as the special education classroom project is underway. Last week Tuesday construction started and we have had the wonderful opportunity of visiting the site and chatting with the contractor, Mr. Sherman Garbutt and the foreman, Mr. Sherwin Garbutt.

We are so pleased to know that our students with Exceptional Learning Needs will have a very unique and well adapted environment to provide for their special needs, that is conducive to their learning styles and abilities. Ms. Celia Monroy (teacher) and students look forward to a very productive and exciting new school year.

The administration and staff of SEPS would like to once again express our deep appreciation for the partnership with BNET and the Ministry of Education in allowing them the opportunity to develop all areas of their school program. INCLUSION is key to the success and progress of all schools and our society at large, as we become ‘true’ Global citizens. We look forward to continued community support and a genuine camaraderie between all stakeholders and partners.

The vision does not stop here. But as the school continues to expand and grow we hope to improve the facilities, add more classrooms, an auditorium and a playground. We welcome partners from our local community and international friends to join us in making SEPS a beacon in our nation. To quote Ms. Tracy Panton (BNET, GM), it is all about: “building firm partnerships in our quest to empower others and unlock the full potential of our people and country.”
